Jan Myrdals big prize – The Lenin Award for 2026 goes to Dror Feiler with the following justification:
“With uncompromising humanism, artistic integrity and political courage, composer, musician, artist and activist Dror Feiler has consistently fought war, fascism, racism and oppression and tirelessly defended artistic freedom and international solidarity, even at personal and public cost. Through his art, his international perspective and his indomitable commitment to peace, justice and human liberation, he has shown that critical art is still a living and absolutely vital force.”
